Paleo - Gluten free Bread
Ingredients:
Dry ingredients -
- ¾ cup arrowroot starch
- 1 ½ tbsp psyllium husk powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ cup of ground flax seed meal
- ¼ cup water
Wet ingredients –
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup almond butter
- 4 eggs
Method: Preheat oven to 425 degree F. In a small bowl, add ground flax seeds with water and let it sit for 10-15 mins.
- Take a large bowl, add all the dry ingredients and mix well. In another bowl, crack all the eggs and with a hand mixer beat it for at least 3 mins.
- Add ground flax seed mix with honey to the beaten eggs and beat again. Add almond butter and vinegar and beat for another couple of mins.
- Now pour the wet mix over dry mix and beat again. Take a loaf tin lined with parchment paper. Pour the mix in the tin and bake for 30 mins or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let the bread cool. Remove the bread from the tin and cut it into slices. Your bread is ready to serve with butter!!
