Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups of boiled Green Chana (dried green chickpeas)
- 1 tomato chopped
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 chopped green chili
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- Salt and Black Pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- 2 Tbsp spicy chana daal
- 1 cup Puffed rice
- 1/2 lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Tamarind chutney
- 2-3 tbsp Sev
- 5-6 sprigs of cilantro chopped
- I cup pomegranate
Method: Soak Green Chana (dried green chickpeas) overnight. For boiling green chana, I have used a pressure cooker. Cook it with salt for upto 3-4 whistles. Take a large bowl, Add green chana in it. Now Add tomatoes, onion and green chili on it. Mix red chili powder, chaat masala, salt, pepper, lemon juice, tamarinch chutney in the same bowl. Mix it well. Add puffed rice, spicy chana daal and pomegranate. Mix all the ingredients well. Top it with some sev and serve!
