GF Honey Garlic Cauliflower (Baked)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Gluten Free Flour
- 2 cup GF breadcrumbs
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cauliflower cut into bite sized florets
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp corn starch
- 1/4 cup sliced scallions
Method: Preheat oven to 400-degree F. Take three large bowls. Add gf flour in one bowl and mix it with 1 cup water. There should be no lumps. In another bowl, whisk three eggs and two tbsp water. In the third bowl add breadcrumbs. Now starting with the first bowl. Toss cauliflower florets and fully coat it with the gf flour. Now dip the florets in egg bowl. Transfer them to the coat it with the breadcrumbs. Take a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper. Put the florets on it and place the sheet in the oven for 20-25 mins. Bake until crispy and golden brown. Meanwhile, in a sauce pan, add soy sauce, honey, garlic, lime juice and sriracha and cook it. Take a small bowl, add corn starch and water. Mix well. When the mix in the sauce pan starts to boil, add corn starch. Cook it for few minutes until it thickens. Toss the cauliflower in the sauce until completely coated. Place these florets in the baking sheet and broil it for 2-5 minutes. Garnish it with scallions.
